Enhancements to existing features
Sales order lines now only offer taxes that belong to the active company, reducing the risk of using the wrong tax setup in multi-company environments. The system also checks saved changes to prevent taxes from another company being applied by mistake.
Original PR description
Before this, you could add any taxes you wanted on order lines in the sales order. Now this many2many is filtered so that only taxes belonging to the current company show up. We also verify it in write. TASK: https://www.odoo.com/web#id=19616&view_type=form&model=project.task&action=327 PAD: https://pad.odoo.com/p/r.aSQyULesdtZ6QttD
The update prevents users from changing units of measure from screens where such edits could accidentally disrupt inventory valuation. This reduces the risk of operational mistakes that can lead to incorrect stock values while keeping normal product and inventory workflows intact.
Original PR description
This is to avoid users accidentally breaking inventory values. TASK: https://www.odoo.com/web#id=19616&view_type=form&model=project.task&action=327 PAD: https://pad.odoo.com/p/r.aSQyULesdtZ6QttD
Odoo now blocks users from manually creating one-to-many fields unless the required matching many-to-one field exists. This helps prevent database configuration mistakes that could break data relationships or cause operational issues.
Original PR description
Only allow it when there is an inverse many2one. This is meant to try and prevent users from messing up their database. TASK: https://www.odoo.com/web#id=19616&view_type=form&model=project.task&action=327 PAD: https://pad.odoo.com/p/r.aSQyULesdtZ6QttD
