Stock quantity lookups are optimized by avoiding unnecessary calculations for unused virtual quantity fields. This should make checking on-hand inventory faster and reduce system overhead, especially in stock-heavy workflows.

This update makes it easier for companies to connect Odoo sign-ins to services like Active Directory. It supports simpler login setup, email-style domain suffixes, secure LDAP addresses, and clearer error handling, reducing setup effort and administrative account requirements.
Original PR description
- Traditionally Odoo binds two times: once anonymously or with `ldap_binddn`, and a second time with the user login. Allow for one-step login using new boolean field `ldap_pre_bind`, True by default for compatibility, to be set to False for direct authenticated binds. Avoids the need for creating an administrative account just for the purpose of Odoo LDAP auth. - Add `ldap_bind_suffix` to add a suffix to the supplied login, to support Active Directory-style domains like @company.com - Allow `ldaps://` protocol for secure mode - Improve error handling Those changes make it easier to use the `auth_ldap` module to connect to Active Directory. Further improvements could be made by skipping the LDAP search when the create_user option is disabled. This would turn ldap_filter and ldap_base into optional fields. FYI: previous PR #3941 was made available for branch 7.0
