Restaurant staff get a smoother table-merging flow in Point of Sale, with fewer accidental exits or invalid merge attempts. Self-ordering now also respects linked tables, helping orders stay aligned when guests are seated across merged tables.

In this commit we improve the table merging feature of `pos_restaurant` by implementing the points from task 3597485
