Spreadsheet pivots and lists now remember the original Odoo action used to create them, so opening underlying records shows the right views and context. This makes drilldowns more predictable for models used in multiple business areas and improves test coverage for action loading behavior.

Businesses can now choose to capture mailing contact names as separate first and last name fields instead of one full-name field. This improves data organization for newsletter signups and mailing lists, while keeping the existing single-name behavior as the default.

Add an option that allows to fill the contact name by providing a first and a last name instead of a single name. This option is not set by default. If the option is enabled, the name will automatically be filled when filling the first and the last name (as first name followed by last name). The first and the last name fields will also be present on the front-end when inserting the newsletter subscription form. Unfortunately, when changing the option, it won't be updated automatically (it must be done manually). A small inconvenient is that when updating first or last name, it will update the name so that the other part of the name is lost. To mitigate that problem, we have enabled the tracking on "name" so that any change on that field is logged in the chatter. If the option is not enabled, only names can be filled. First and last name will remain empty. Enabling the option won't convert names to first and last names. We have decided to not implement that conversion because it is not reliable as the order of the first and last name can vary, some country have also middle name, ... So to keep things simple, that operation must be done manually. When not enabled, we make the first and last name fields not searchable so that they don't appears in custom filters or dynamic placeholder. Note: the column name of the tree view has the option optional="show". When enabling the split name feature, the column first and last name are added to the view with the option optional="hide" to allow the user to configure the view with first and last name columns if needed (by default, only the name column will be shown). Survey answer options can now use an image without requiring text, as long as either text or an image is provided. This makes visual surveys easier to create and improves answer selection on small screens by selecting the option when its image is tapped.
Original PR description
Questions with predefined answer options were composed of a mandatory text and an optional image. We now make both optional but with the constraint to have at least one of them. This allows to make question with image answer option only. On small device, it might be difficult to select an answer when the image takes almost the whole width because when clicking on the image, it enlarges it and don't select the answer. To solve this problem, we have changed the behavior for small device: when clicking on an image, it also select the answer. Note that our first solution was to reduce the clickable area but it was complex and not a standard behavior. Task-3504092

Odoo Studio now works properly in dark mode, giving users a more consistent experience with the rest of Odoo. The update also simplifies some Studio interface elements and removes outdated styling, making the feature easier to maintain.
Original PR description
This commit brings the dark mode support to Studio. Most of the styles are already using variables, or generic components. Now, it is no longer an issue to fully support it, since those are already well supported accross Odoo. Minor other changes have been done too, to continue the work started by commit [1], reducing custom elements to better use generic or studio components. Some rules were not applied anymore, allowing to remove and clean scss files. [1]: 6d08de5f08e870e15918b706614d535da00e1266 task-3776181
The accounting reconciliation wizard now lets users edit a partial write-off when reconciling a single selected line. This makes it easier to adjust balances directly during reconciliation, similar to moving amounts between accounts.
Original PR description
We allow partial reconciliation in the reconciliation wizard if only lines of the same "side" (debit/credit) are selected. This action is similar to moving between accounts. task-id: 3615035
