New functionality added to Odoo
A new Saudi payroll integration retrieves employee social insurance contribution data from GOSI using the employee's Iqama number. This helps businesses comply with the new Saudi GOSI regulation that gradually increases contribution rates for newer workforce entrants, with automatic periodic updates to keep payroll data current.
Original PR description
This PR introduces a new module that integrates with GOSI (General Organization for Social Insurance) that integrates with GOSI to fetch and populate HR employee contribution fields using the employee's Iqama number. It also includes a scheduled cron job to automatically retrieve and update employee contributions periodically this is to accommodate for the new GOSI regulations: As a part of the new GOSI regulations (General Organization of Social Insurance in Saudi), employees joining the workforce in Saudi Arabia after July 2024 will have their social insurance contribution percentage increased by 0.5% for each year starting July 2025 until they have a total increase of 2% (From 9% to 11%).
