Enhancements to existing features
When a company-paid expense is turned into a vendor bill, the payment line will now show the note entered in the payment reference field instead of appearing blank. This gives accounting teams clearer context and improves traceability in expense-related accounting entries.
Original PR description
Currently, when creating a bill from an expense with payment_mode='company_account', the payment term line's name is set to an empty string because expenses are immediate payment expenses. However, users may enter notes in the payment_reference field. The account.move.line's `_compute_name` ([1](https://github.com/odoo/odoo/blob/3f4e45ecaca46a98c904536658728a1f1571bdbd/addons/account/models/account_move_line.py#L520)) method uses payment_reference to compute the name for payment term lines. By setting the name in needed_terms from payment_reference, the payment term line will display the user's notes, providing better context and traceability in the accounting entries. This change ensures consistency with the standard invoice behavior where payment_reference is used to populate the payment term line name. --- I confirm I have signed the CLA and read the PR guidelines at www.odoo.com/submit-pr Forward-Port-Of: odoo/odoo#241353
This update enables IoT devices connected to our Point of Sale system to function correctly without requiring a secure HTTPS certificate. A new setting allows requests to use HTTP instead, simplifying the connection process for IoT boxes. This improves reliability and reduces setup complexity.
Original PR description
Community PR: https://github.com/odoo/odoo/pull/246781 This is a backport of odoo/enterprise#100331. Since odoo/odoo#235702, there is a `point_of_sale.use_lna` system parameter. When it is set, ePOS requests will use HTTP instead of HTTPS, and the `targetAddressSpace: "local"` option is used in the `fetch` request. This bypasses the need for a HTTPS certificate. This commit adds the same functionality to all IoT requests from the POS. This should allow the IoT box to function correctly without a HTTPS certificate. task-5353672 Forward-Port-Of: odoo/enterprise#106183
