Accounting users can now choose a dedicated cash basis account to hold the base amount when cash basis tax entries are generated. This gives businesses more control over how tax-related accounting entries are organized and reported.

When using cash basis taxes, the user has now the possibility to select a cash basis account containing the base amount during the generation of accounting entries.

Odoo Mail now identifies key message categories such as notes, activities, and discussions using stable internal codes instead of fragile technical record IDs. This makes chatter and email-related features harder to break through configuration changes and may reduce database queries for better performance.

Use code on message subtype instead of having hardcoded xml ids for note, activity and discussion subtypes.
