However this could be achieved by properly addressing the issue when constructing the sql queries in method [`_query_get_select_sum `](https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/blame/master/account_reports/models/account_financial_report.py#L466-L497) though early PoC's using sql have proven to be tricky to achieve.

So far we have some PoC's using some combinations of SQL and other workarounds which we are glad to share with you only to check for the results they provide nor by the way they were obtained. (PoC's to be submitted as another PR. [TO_BE_UPDATED])

At this point this PR works when not asking for comparisons in the reports. If comparison is asked the values will be fetched using the closing rate at date of first requested report which is wrong as stated by the Standard.

With latest commit https://github.com/odoo/enterprise/pull/2347/commits/275d3a785d645a48697da33266222041074050dd we are able to fetch reports with Date Range like `Profit & Loss`. 

For Date Range Reports we could be able to make comparison though there is a bug with the comparison dates of the ranges, because in some cases the dates that are send to make the comparison is not consistent with the other ranges.
